Two big rally stories have broken for this issue:-                                                                                                                                                                                                Our man Trevor Godwin's magnificent finish in 1000 Lakes rally (2nd in class, 42nd overall), puts those processional wins in the British Championships into perspective. Good on you Trevor, and Good Luck on the RAC!                                                                                                                  Secondly, The Mini Spares Monte Mini will again have a chance to prove itself, firstly in the Network Q RAC Rally this month, then again in the 1996 Monte Carlo Rally in January. Driver Keith Bird has the able assistance of navigator Tony Graham, and the pair are renowned for being fierce competitors as well as fine rally technicians.                                                          Sanwa Yrading, a long standing and highly valued Mini Spares' agent in Japan, is co-sponsoring the car with Mini Spares Centre. and the original Monte Mini's sponsors, British Aerospace.

NEW MINI SUPERCOOL
RADIATOR
Mini Spares Centre have introduced a new Special 2-Core radiator, which will make the old 4-core obsolete.
In the t 970's, Mini Spares were the pioneers of the first mass produced up rated radiator, where their original 4-core proved highly successful with at least 25% improvement in cooling
efficiency and capacity. On the down side, it is quite a bulky unit and did cause some clearance problems on early Mk. 1 Minis, as well as increasing the weight.
The new 2-core radiator was developed to be lighter and thinner than the 4-core, and incorporates larger cores and V-shaped gills, to both dissipate heat more efficiently and increase airflow to assist in cooling.
When Paul Whiffin changed the 4-core for the supercool 2-Core rad in his infamous Turbo Metro Clubman, his cooling problems disappeared overnight.
The new Special 2-Core radiator is available from Mini Spares at £68.50 incl. VAT, and £76.00 incl. VAT for '92-on cars with its built-in sender unit.
