Mighty Minis racing season 2016

Hi all, after what can only be considered as a most enjoyable season with great racing and lifelong friendships made and rediscovered, we now look forward to another exciting season with the BARC.

The images below capture the essence of what this season has been about, and most obvious is the closely matched cars and drivers trying their utmost to do as best they could. This is what Minis racing is all about and long may it continue.

There are many interesting things in motion and we will be keeping you informed, it starts with the international Autosport show where we will have a presence. I look forward to having a chat if you visit the show.

I will be sending out the provisional regulations very shortly and you will see that we have another superb season planned, where we will be visiting circuits that we have not competed at for some years and for some of you this will be a first time and another challenge. Of the seven events that we are competing at there are five promoted events, this should be helpful for those of you that are seeking sponsorship.

A very well done to all drivers this year for the entertainment and paddock laughter and we take our collective hats off to the top three in both championships where their season long fight was witnessed by us all and there is no doubt that they are worthy champions. Amazing driving.

Importation rules regarding vehicles are very specific: Only those over 25 years in age may be brought in to the USA without compilance to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS).
