this straight cut gear kit includes 1ST,2nd,3rd gear,with A plus 1st motion shaft and laygear but with a remote change reverse gear for those wishing to gain maximum strength from their remote type gear kit. Please order genuine C-22A1741 or 22G2033 baulk rings when fitting this gearkit. The original ratio and tooth counts used by ST Abingdon competition department. all gears are available individually.

Always select 1st and 4th gears plus reverse when locking up gearbox for dismantling and assembly.

If you are about to undertake a gearbox strip down and you are using an old Haynes manual beware. When locking the gearbox into 2 gears to undoe the large mainshaft and Ist motion nuts lock your gears into 1st and

4th. NOT 2nd and 3rd as stated in Haynes manual as you could very easily

strip your laygear or 2nd /3rd gear.
