For all MK4 minis from 1976 until 1996 air bag models arrived.

Models from 1989 on only have one cancelling pin,match the boss to the existing wheel and remove unwanted pin.

Large steering wheel nut for all pre air bag models, and a shakeproof washer 53K3480 must be fitted for safety reasons.1 5/16" spanner size 1.3125" wide (33mm).

All steering wheels pre air bag (twinpoint injection cars 1997 on) should have this shakeproof washer fitted under the large securing nut (ACH6001) and should be replaced every time the wheel is removed.
