Being the only Mini registered for the BARC HIGH PROFILE MODIFIED SALOON CAR CHAMPIONSHIP expectations for a class win would be doubtful!
With over 60 cars registering in various classes a top 10 finish would be perhaps a little ambitious?
However RACING is RACING.
The 1st few rounds saw our fabulous MINI CLUBMAN starting to climb the leaderboard because many of the rounds contested were on short circuits. The team began to amass some good finishing places i.e.(Class wins).
Reliability as with all Championships is the key to success, by the time of the last round it was on the cards that we were going to achieve a class win and 6th overall.
The team together with MINI SPARES as our main sponsor are all pleased with this great result.
It's good to see a 60’s design vehicle contending in a Championship with high spec ULTRA MODERN MACHINERY, and can still get up there and mix it with them and beat them.
