Silverstone 2017 Report

The start of the 2017 Super Mighty Minis Championship was finally upon us, and where better to kick things off than Silverstone!

The Mini 7 Racing Club's season finale took us to Zandvoort for the second year running, although last year it was a non-championship round. Both championships had already been wrapped up - Ashley Davies topping the points table for the mini se7en challenge supported by Mini Spares, and Shayne Deegan for the mini miglia challenge supported by Mini Spares. Well done to both of you.

Snetterton is already a distant memory and now we will be travelling to Circuit Park Zandvoort (Netherlands) for the Mini 7 season finale.

2016 Brands Hatch – BigMacRacing

Better late than never – a month has already passed since the annual Brands Hatch Mini Festival and yet somehow the sunshine is still shining as brightly in the UK.

There were a few things to sort with the car in preparation for the mini festival, following the poor luck we faced at Donington Park. Mini Spares were spot on in delivering some quality parts .....

Comis in the number 41 Mini Spares car was up at the sharp end and by the end of the session, had secured 3rd on the grid, 2 tenths off pole. So close was the field, 1 second covered the top 10 cars.

“It’s always close here and 3rd is good, but there were a couple of areas I think I could have made up some time. The race should be good, I suspect it will be very close.”
