Positive earth only. This alternator is designed to replace the dynamo on early cars whilst retaining the looks of an original dynamo. Upgrades power by up to 80% with a 40% reduction in weight. Outputs up to 40 amps.A dummy control box also avaiable to compliment looks GXE1008
