Metal gasket for the catalyst and is the same both ends for Cooper 1275CC RSP early cars, but only fitted on the front to later cars. If you cannot fit this gasket on the rear your car does not need one.

The newest development in the A-series engine is the use of these nuts with swedged-on washers. The washer will not separate from the nut, so you won't lose it. Yet the nut rotates independently while you tighten it. What a great idea.
