For Hydrolastic suspension cars, they were made with a 1/4" fixing hole but this needs elongating vertically to get the bump stop to sit properly on the upper arm which had different machine tolerances when manufactured.

Front hub nut that screws onto the CV joint of all early minis with drum brakes plus all standard cooper 997/8 models. 1 1/8, 1.125" AF nut size although 28mm width have been seen. The washer for this is 2A7323.
