If you want to hold it in place then this is easy and simple. 4" long rubber hooks can be used on bonnet and/or boot lid. Packaged in pairs with both brackets.

Threaded boss that fits in the floor of MK1 minis for the spare wheel clamp 14A6511 to screw into.
Round spare wheel clamp with bolt for fitting in the boot to the spare wheel boss as fitted to Mk1 minis. See 88G479 for the boot floor boss that this clamp screws into.
Used on all MK1/2/3 bootlids there are 26 little holes drilled around the inner edge to hold the seal on and this kit contains the 26 clips. For single clips see 14A6585. Later cars 1988 on fitted a seal to the body only. (CKE10018)
