this lip holds the upper grille moulding on Mk2 saloons right up to the last cars. Fitted to all our bonnets except van types and MK1 saloons it is usually found on any new bonnet and is tacked/welded on. The genuine part ALA6664 is available to order but not stocked as it is twice the price for a part that is never hardly seen as the bonnet moulding sits over it.

Called the rear bonnet seal it actually sits in the windscreen front scuttle panel on all minis up to 1991. This is the shape and size neoprene foam seal that we have found works best and has an adhesive backing to make fitting easier and less messy.
