A total of 134 crews , including 39 Historics lined up for the 40th running of the Wervik Rally (pic1). We had some interesting competition in the up to 1300cc class with 2 Belgian Minis and a beautifully prepared 1975 Simca Rallye 2, which is quite a rarity these days and not seen in the UK. It was decided to compete in 2 national championships with both our twin cam Mini Clubman and our hybrid GT Metro Space frame. Our trusted stalwart the Mini Clubman achieved an incredible 8th overall and 2nd in class against some of the most high tech machinery in the country and achieving 2 lap records which had stood for some time. Despite battle damage on the way the teams focus on preparing and maintaining the mini both on race days and evenings burning the midnight oil, true dedication is a rare commodity... Read more

The 8 Port Clubman has once again enjoyed a superb season winning Class E of the BARC Dunlop Motorsport News (DMN) Saloon Car Championship, finishing second overall in the same championship and winning Class 2 of the SEMSEC Saloon and Sports Car Championship.
