There is NOT enough clearance room when fitting to old cars with rubber couplings which foul.Using QL5000 type couplings will help but re-shaping of manifold is still required in most cases.

The newest development in the A-series engine is the use of these nuts with swedged-on washers. The washer will not separate from the nut, so you won't lose it. Yet the nut rotates independently while you tighten it. What a great idea.
