Non Genuine, fits saloons from 1974 until the introduction of injection.

First fitted to 1275GT in 1974 with 12"wheels and all mini saloons from 1980 on

7.5 gallons or 34 litres capacity and the tank is retained by the single strap across the centre 21A2838. Sender unit fixing is twist and turn type. The neck does not have the restrictor in it for lead free nozzle but most petrol available is lead free. This is the only tank available for pre-injection and works for all types. Does not have brackets on top for HIF38 cars with the fuel emmissions system wich is not available anymore and missing off most cars.

The petrol outlet pipes have always been 5/16" and if going down to 1/4" you will need reducing pipe HM-4-5

This is the thinner type seal as used on the twin point injection cars and is usefull on earlier cars when fitting altenative petrol caps that require more of the neck exposed to allow fitment.
