Clip on the heater valve for heater cables on vehicles from 1990 where the in line remote heater valve was used. It has also been used as a clip for HIF carbs to hold the cable but the one from Rover is 13H3472.
If you have fitted our inlet and exhaust manifolds plus an RC40 exhaust to a stadard 1275cc engine this needle in a HIF44 carb will work great if coupled with a K&N pancake filter.
A very usefull tuning needle for single and twin carbs when camshaft change for carbs with floating needles.

Early single HS" carbs had these splendid looking brass top dashpot dampers which are interchangeable with the plastic type.
This dashpot carb damper is for the HIF38 1.5"SU as fitted on original 1990s 1275 minis except Coopers with HIF44 carb, but was also used on some Metro HIF44 carbs. check the number on your old one.
