GCL211 was the alternative to GCL143 but was from Unipart and made by intermotor to a higher specification which was fitted to SPI cars in Japan as original equipment plus some UK cars as it was a superior better quality product. .
Our research,sales and feed back shows Intermotor coils to be the best available for the mini.
Original type coil bracket 12G2994 with welded on lug nuts is available as fitted from 1969-1995

A complete break from the original looking coils this is only for use on twin point injection cars and judging by sales seems to be as unreliable after age.
Plugs on the current MPI coils are very tight but do fit.
