Sometimes a little tight in the 2A3624 housing, just rotate to loosen up.
It has 16 teeth and was used on 3.4 final drives with 2A3720 drive spindle which had 6 teeth. Usually from 20.50mm to 21.12mm wide
The DAM8074 worm used on the ERA Mini also had 16 teeth but yellow in colour but used a 5 tooth drive and has been used as it has about same diameter of 20.4mm.
BEWARE-There was also a different green (17) tooth drive DAM2904 which was fitted to the MG Metro with 3.4 diff and can be used in place of 22A1881 for all early minis.

Follow your speedo cable to the gearbox and it screws onto an alloy housing bolted to the gearbox. This is the gasket between the housing and the gearbox.
