Rear hub nuts on the mini are sided as the threads are different. This is for the right hand rear and is usual right hand thread to tighten.

Compensator bracket where cables meet and the rear of the front cable screws in, also known as equaliser bracket. Fitted to single handbrake cable cars from 1976 on.

Top quality clevis pin that retains the handbrake cable to the levers sticking out from the rear backplates.(levers are SMN10005). If the pins have any sign of wear change them as they cause extra play and function of handbrake.
