The newest development in the A-series engine is the use of these nuts with swedged-on washers. The washer will not separate from the nut, so you won't lose it. Yet the nut rotates independently while you tighten it. What a great idea.

This set is for cars with sandwich plates fitted under the thermostat elbow, mainly cars from 1990 on. These stainless steel bolts have multi point thick flanged heads. Quantity required one kit per car.

If your thermostat has a sandwich plate under it you will need these longer studs. The washers are GFK1114 and the nuts GFK3212. 5/16" bolt 3"long, unc bolt with unf nut end.Also used as a differential housing to case stud.
