Using new hardware makes any job more pleasant. If you're servicing your cylinder head you should examine the rocker studs for signs of stretching or stripped threads. Two long (51K885) and two short (51K1473) per head.

This is 5/16"unc with other end unf for nut and is 3"long.

CHS2624 are 3."long 3/8"with 0.250"thread x 3 or use BH506181 bolt
