If you still have the original factory oil pick up pipe in your gearbox and not the C-AHT54 special pick up this is the oil seal that fits the pipe where it goes into the wire mesh strainer - this seal is not in gearbox gasket sets.

The favourite final drive for minis this is the pre A plus type which was stronger and fitted to Cooper S etc. goes with 22A411 crownwheel.

For the pre A plus gearboxes and unlike A Plus do not have a step in them where the bearings sit. It does however have one end larger than the other. The bearing part numbers are 88G396 and larger CHM141
